5G is still the supreme early adopter tech, being costly, finicky and difficult to discover. Now, by launching the Galaxy A90 5G, Samsung has brought that incredible speed potential within reach.

The official Samsung Galaxy A905G. Samsung unveiled Tuesday's new 5G smartphone ahead of Samsung Galaxy Fold's rumored appearance in South Korea. Not only is it the first 5G phone in the A sequence of the company, it is also the first phone to promote DeX in the lineup.

Samsung DeX provides users with the opportunity to connect their phone to a PC monitor or TV to expand the experience of the phone to a larger screen. Based on the information currently available, there does not appear to be a Samsung Galaxy A90 4 G version.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G sports an unusual design on the back with gradient finish on the top half and regular colour on the bottom half in the White version and the opposite in the Black version. There are also different coloured stripes running on the side in both version.

Unlike models including the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5 G or OnePlus 7 Pro 5 G, it is one of the few non-flagship 5 G phones available, so it may actually be hitting a reasonable price point.

But calling the A90 5 G a mid-tier phone would be a difficulity. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and an OLED display of 6.7-inch, 1080p, just as we saw from the previous leak news.

It also has a state-of - the-art triple camera setup with a primary sensor of 48 megapixels, an ultra-wide camera of 8 megapixels, an info sensor of 5 megapixels depth and a selfie camera of 32 megapixels. A battery of 4,500 mAh should offer lengthy battery life, and you can recharge it at 25W.

Therefore, we're not considering about  middling device here, especially looking at  the 5G internet speeds. According to South Korean news agency Yonhap, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will bring a beginning price tag of KRW 900,000 (roughly Rs. 53,100) in the company's home market where it goes on sale starting tomorrow.

It will be the company's third 5G phone in South Korea after Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Samsung shows the phone will extend to other markets in the coming weeks and months.
