IKEA's Augmented Reality Place app can assist you gage how furnishings looks in your house, but you've only tried products one at a moment— not much assistance if you're attempting to furnish a fresh house.

But now, as a home decor instrument, it's much more practical. An updated iOS app (the Android equivalent is coming in the "near future") allows you to place multiple items at once, be it handpicked or part of predefined room sets.

For example, you're going to know if that lounge chair and lamp combo fits into your living room.

You can also build a website with a wish list of products that you have attempted in AR. Meanwhile, a "For You" feed provides a constant stream of collections, fresh products and suggestions unless you know where to begin.

And if you're the kind that loves hunting for Easter eggs, you're obviously in for a surprise when you put a SYMFONISK speaker in the space, switch it on and shut it up.

These are not essential characteristics, but they might offer you a reason to move beyond the original novelty to place.
