The OnePlus 7 T is not shipped yet, but its imminent successor does not stop leaks. Well-known tipster OnLeaks and CashKaro have reported on the basis of schematics from a "business source" what they claim are sketches of the OnePlus 8.

The model indicates that OnePlus is sticking to a more traditional layout on the rear, but it will make many possibly welcome changes elsewhere. The 8 would have a roughly 6.5-inch curved display with a camera hole-punch spot instead of the 7 T's knot or the 7 Pro's selfie pop-up monitor. It would definitely not be the most original design, but it could be an esthetic improvement from the' flat' 7T.

The leak does not reveal much about the supposed innards of the phone, although one significant and potentially overdue feature will occur: wireless charging. OnePlus has so far ignored the software in favour of its quick wired approach, but its hand might have been pushed by competitive pressure. Suspecting that the 8 will have up-to - the-minute specifications like the newest available Snapdragon processor (865, maybe?) is also rational.

Knowing the release date for the OnePlus 8 is far too early, but history suggests that from now on you will see it for about half a year. Interestingly, given the size of 6.5 inches, we wouldn't be shocked to see around the same time a bigger, more powerful 8 Pro.

The problem is whether or not OnePlus will have more to pull in customers than wireless charging and a speed bump. There are still some main flaws in the 7 series, particularly in camera quality, and many people are likely to wait to see if OnePlus will actually go toe-toe with the best camera phones on the market.
