Alphabetically sort your applications

It's easy to realize how confusing it can be to discover the app you need when you've downloaded so many. Fortunately, you can alphabetically sort your applications. Choose "Restart Home Screen Layout" at Settings> General >Restart. This places all of the iPad's standard applications first, with everything you've downloaded later, in alphabetical order.

Faster charging in Airplane Mode

You don't always have to wait an entire day for your iPad to charge. Speed up the method by moving to Airplane Mode, which turns off the wireless, making it possible to dedicate more energy to charge your device.

Take a screenshot

Need a screenshot to for an email to colleagues? Simply click the power and home button at the same time, thus creating a screenshot.

Program typing shortcuts

It’s kind of a pain to type on the iPad. Avoid excess typing by programming your own shortcuts in Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts.

Type numbers quickly

It's not necessary to click the numbers button, followed by the amount you want to write, then the letters button, to go back to the usual keyboard. Just click the numbers button and hold it. Drag your finger to the amount you want and unlock when the keyboard numbers appear. Three gestures in one. This works for special characters and accents too.

Enable Reader Mode for a cleaner reading experience

Tired of all of those distracting sidebars and ads? Most sites now offer Reader Mode, which provides a much cleaner reading experience. On the left side of the address bar, look for three and a half stacked horizontal lines. Click that icon to enable Reader Mode. Click it again to disable. Note that you need to be at the top of the page for this feature to work.
