The video streaming platform of Apple, TV+, will be available on November 1st in just a few days. Through offering a free three-month trial for Emmy magazine customers, the organization is drumming up even more anticipation for the release.
The standard free trial of the service offered to regular customers is seven days, and Apple will also give consumers who purchase a new phone such as an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV a year-round free subscription. According to MacRumors, Emmy subscribers can get three months of service offered as a coupon added to a full-page ad.
Apple TV+ launches into a crowded marketplace and will have to compete with services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+, the upcoming streaming service.
Apple will create a range of original shows and movies to attract an audience of entertainment enthusiasts to try out its service, and will work with stars like Jason Momoa and Jennifer Aniston.
Priced at an affordable $4.99 a month, Apple hopes by undercutting its rivals to bring new users to its service. For extended free trial offers, when it opens, it may be difficult to ignore TV+.
